Our stay at the Lookout was absolutely fantastic. The room we had was clean, comfortable, and had a spacious self-catering lounge area. We loved having our own private patio with a stunning view of the swimming pool, marina, and sea. The breakfast served on the patio was a delightful start to our day. The location also offered secure and convenient parking. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay in Port Alfred.

Wonderfull place where you whish to stay for a couple of nights

It was easy to find and well sign posted. The host was friendly, and our flat was spacious and comfortable. The most enjoyable aspect though was looking out over the marina in the morning while having the delicious breakfast provided by the guest house.

We hit up the Fish River Sun Golf Course and had a ball swinging our clubs and trying not to hit each other in the face. The course has a cool old-fashioned vibe that made us feel like we were time-traveling golfers. And then we challenged ourselves at the Royal Port Alfred Golf Club, which has some seriously quirky holes that kept us on our toes. It was a golfing adventure like no other!

If I had to nitpick, I just wish there were more options for young party animals like ourselves. Don't get me wrong, the golf courses were amazing, but we were craving some wild parties and late-night shenanigans.

Comfortable, homely and very friendly staff.

The view was breathtaking & there were braai facilities with a bar area which protects you from the wind. The apartments are spacious and comfortable.

Spectacular view of Kowie River, Marina, Indian Ocean, and Port Alfred. Large and well-equipped downstairs unit with a spacious kitchen, dining area, and separate lounge. Comfortable beds and cozy atmosphere. Excellent service and friendly staff. Convenient location with many attractions nearby. Clean and beautifully decorated property. Delicious and sumptuous breakfast. Nice outdoor patio and shared pool.

Efficient, friendly and basically home from home

The units at The Lookout Guest House are simply amazing! The stylish living and sleeping quarters make you feel like you're in a magazine. And let's talk about the private patio.wow! You can just chill there and enjoy the beautiful night sky or take in the breathtaking panorama. It's perfect for someone like me who loves to relax and soak up the surroundings.

I personally found the additional toilet in the spacious apartment to be a bit unnecessary. But hey, that's just my opinion.

A really lovely place to stay. The owner gives you a warm feeling of being welcome by paying attention to little somethings. You can have breakfast with a great view over Port Alfred. It is just a short walk to the beach as well as to the town.

The view of the ocean was absolutely stunning, and the apartment was spacious with enough room to move around comfortably. the location was top-notch, with easy access to nearby restaurants and shops.

The cleanliness of the apartment was not up to par, as we found dust and dirt in several places. the bed was not very comfortable, which made for a subpar sleeping experience.
